Riot was so impressed with the work that they asked Fortiche to make an animated series, which took several years to create. After the release of the first season, Riot announced that a second season was in the works and that production would take less time. Featured in Crazy Cartoon Cast of AniMat: Geeked Week for Freaks (2021). Enemy written by Dan Reynolds, Wayne Sermon, Ben McKee, Daniel Platzman, Robin Fredriksson, Matthias Larsson, Justin Tranter, J.I.D.

Performance: Imagine Dragons ft. Arcane tells the story of two young orphaned sisters growing up and getting into trouble in the twin cities of Zaun and Piltover. The series is based on the video game League of Legends, and while it drops you right into this fictional world, it takes time and attention to set up the locations and characters in a commendable way of showing off, don’t tell. The solid character development and world-building means that this is a thoroughly enjoyable watch that doesn’t take anything away from the game.

The animation is absolutely gorgeous

As an anime fan, I found the animations in Arcane to be beyond anything I’ve ever seen from an animated series. There’s incredible attention to detail. It’s clear that no artistic talent or financial expense was spared in bringing the world of Runeterra to life. A great soundtrack, great acting, and a compelling story that pulls no punches when it comes to violence and coming-of-age themes.

Only the first three episodes have been released so far, and I can’t wait to see what else they have in store for us!
